Kendall Farms is a family owned and operated business that is obsessed with growing the finest flowers and greens in the most conscientious way. With a rich history and over 35 years of growing the flowers you love, our goal is to always do better and to constantly evolve by carefully monitoring every part of the growing and harvesting process. We strive to give back to the land that has given so much to us by creating a self-sustaining farm which uses reclaimed water, solar power (from our 5 acres of solar panels), and by using our very own compost created on the farm to keep our soil healthy and productive. We continue our high standards in our warehouse which includes Quality Control, Product Rotation (FiFo), and Cold Chain Management.
About Us
About the Farm
American Grown
Kendall Farms, located in Southern California, is dedicated to providing the highest quality flowers and greens. We are a member of the California Cut Flower Commission , American Grown , and other organizations that help promote the importance of our flower farm here in California.
Our Family Story
Originally from farm country in Texas, David Kendall moved his family from the suburbs of Los Angeles to Fallbrook where he purchased what became the first 50 acres of Kendall Farms in 1987. Under the beautiful southern California sky, his love for farming blossomed once more, as did the exquisite flowers that grow here.
Once his family settled in, they found themselves falling in love with growing and farming California flowers. David’s son, Jason Kendall and his nephew, Troy Conner have continued to build on David’s vision. The second generation have not only kept the traditions of Kendall Farms alive but have made tremendous strides with progressive, conscientious choices. With the years of hard work, dedication, and most of all, love, the Kendall family grew the small 50-acre farm into the expansive 500 acres it is today.
One thing that will never change here at Kendall Farms is our family. We have persevered through fires, floods, and recessions, and continue to thrive at what we do with everything we are given.
Growing & Giving
The Outreach Farm Project
The Outreach Farm Project, which started in the Spring of 2009, is near and dear to our hearts. When the crashing economy overwhelmed the local outreach organizations that could no longer keep up with the demands for food, we converted several of our fields into a Produce Farm and partnered with the Community Mission of Hope and other local outreach programs to provide fresh produce to help those that are struggling to provide for themselves and their families. Since its inception The Outreach Farm Project has harvested over half-million pounds of fresh produce.
The program is run by Kendall Farms and Troy’s family, but is only made possible through the partnership with other local businesses and thousands of volunteers that work the fields.
