Waxflower (genus Chamelaucium) is a woody evergreen shrub in the Myrtle family (Myrtaceae) known for its tiny, star-shaped blooms with a smooth, waxy texture and needle-like foliage. Originally native to southwest Western Australia, waxflower is now cultivated worldwide — especially in California — for its long vase life, delicate texture, and versatile floral use.
